¹ Language & Literature

Language A1: Literature: 영어를 모국어 수준으로 구사할 수 있는 학생들을 위한 과목이며 영미 문학이 중심인 과목으로 영어능력과 문학적 이해도 필수

Language A2: Language & Literature: 비교적 문학의 비중이 낮으며 문학뿐만 아니라 광고, 연설문 등 다양한 미디어를 분석하고 이해하는 수업

 

 

² Language Acquisition

Language ab Initio: 해당 언어를 처음 배우는 학생들을 위한 과정으로 Standard Level만 지원

Language B: 영어가 제2외국어인 학생들을 위한 과목으로 실용적인 의사소통에 중점을 두고 문학적 지식은 요구하지 않는다.

 

 

³ Environmental System & Societies: 그룹3,4에 둘 다 속해 있는 과목이며 인문계 학생들 중 과학을 어려워하면 선택을 생각해 볼만한 비교적 수월한 과목이다. 현장 학습이 필수라서 호불호가 있으며 Standard Level만 제공된다.

 

 

⁴ Mathematics

Mathmatics: Analysis & Approaches (AA): 순수 수학과정으로 Math AI보다 상대적으로 난이도가 높다. 공학, 수학, 물리학, 경제학 등을 전공하는 학생들에게 적합

Mathmatics: Applications & Interpretations (AI): 연산능력이 강조되는 문제들을 풀며 문제설명이 길어 영어실력 필요하다.  의과대학, 사회과학, 심리학, 자연과학 등을 전공하는 학생들에게 적합
